Chicago’s latest SUPER GROUP is now available!

And so is LOS UNOS...

Los Unos has been described as a band you might hear on college rock radio…in the 80’s.  Influenced by such notables as The Blasters, The Replacements, The Smithereens, R.E.M., Drivin’ N’ Cryin’, The Jam, Minutemen, X, and The Clash there’s probably some truth to that.  But ultimately they’re an all-original ensemble that combines equal parts Garage Rock, Power Pop, and Roots Rock to create timeless songs that manage to sound fresh, yet familiar.

Hailing from areas as diverse as Augusta, Georgia; the Bronx, New York; Champaign, Illinois; and Yokosuka, Japan.  Los Unos is made up of Jeff, Jonathan, Bob, and Uno who migrated to the Chicagoland area and eventually managed to find each other through a series of Craigslist ads.  Very well-educated (there are two doctorates in the band), and yet with all that education, they still focus most of their attention on girls, guitars, and rock ‘n roll…mixed with the occasional tunes regarding socio-political oppression, teen pregnancy, and finding new hope by controlling your own mindset (that’s what you get with a liberal arts education).
